Heidi M. Bretthauer is the President and Owner of Gateway Equities, Inc. a newly formed company that specializes in strategic acquisitions, development and consulting.
Prior to starting Gateway Equities, Inc. Heidi was the Vice President of Land Acquisitions and Entitlements for the Las Vegas SouthDivision of Pulte Homes, one of the largest markets for a Fortune 150 company that has been honored as “America’s Best Builder.” In 2006, the Las Vegas South Division closed 2384 homes under the Pulte Homes, Del Webb and Sun City brands.
Heidi has worked in the home building industry for nearly 17 years, spending four and half years with Pulte Homes as Vice President of Land Acquisition and Entitlements. In this position, she managed a team who successfully negotiated, purchased and entitled numerous residential single and multi family properties. Heidi played a key role in defining the strategy and tactical planning for future acquisitions.
Prior to Pulte Homes, Heidi held various positions within the industry with experience in acquisitions, entitlements, forward planning and engineering, supervision of land development and construction, sales, and environmental assessments. She brings a wealth of knowledge and contacts to Gateway Equities.
In Heidi’s career, she has been responsible for entitling and/or developing land into communities that have ranged in size from 20 homes to large master plans of 10,000 +/- homes, mid-rise communities with 4 and 5 story buildings with podium parking, various mixed use developments, commercial centers, assisted living facilities and a hotel/casino project
In 2006, Heidi was named one of the “Top 40 Under 40 Business People in Las Vegas” by In Business Las Vegas and she was featured in the annual “Who’s Who in Real Estate” publication. Heidi also serves on the Advisory Board for the Nevada chapter of the Special Olympics organization.
Heidi is a native of Nevada who holds a B.S. Degree from Colorado State University. She is a licensed Nevada State General Contractor and a licensed Nevada Real Estate Salesperson with First Commercial.
